Back in September 2014, Moschino came out with a Barbie-inspired line that fashion news outlets are still talking about today. What's more - some of our favorite affordable stores have picked up on the trend. When I first saw the Moschino line, I thought it was super-kitsch (but not Betsey Johnson-kitsch) and would die out quickly. It wasn't my favorite, but now it's definitely starting to grow on me. As I silently plead every day for warmer weather from under my blankets and coffee cup in -6 degree Iowa, Moschino's line continues to look more and more appealing. However, I'm still on the fence. Is the Barbie fad cutesy, kitschy, or just plain ugly? Help me decide. Below, I posted some of my favorite looks from Moschino's collection, but you can see the rest of the collection here. |
Don't forget to keep an eye out for the latest Moschino during FW2015!!!

So what do you think? Is the Barbie trend a Go or a No? Would you wear any of this stuff? (I'm seriously sort of loving Moschino's ready to wear stuff for sale. If only I had $500 lying around...)
